GIANT HAMSTER FROM TEXAS


This unusual pet named Caplin Rous lived with his employer Tipaldos Melanie (Melanie Typaldos) and her daughter. Rous abbreviation in its name means "rodent of unusual size." Melanie Eng Tipaldos Kaplin pet named to honor a large rodent - the hero's tale "The Princess Bride".





In the wild they would eat whole grains, nuts and small pieces of fruits and vegetables that they might find lying on the ground, and will occasionally eat small insects such as small fruit flies, crickets, and meal worms. They have elongated fur-lined pockets on both sides of their heads which extend their shoulders, which they stuff full of food to be stored, taken back to the colony or to be eaten later.
